Instructional Coach - Remote
About Beacon Instructional Partners
Beacon Instructional Partners was founded to help address two immense challenges colleges and universities across the country are encountering:
First, more students than ever are attending college--but many of these students are arriving to campus with a wider range set of skills than ever before. To successfully address this challenge, it is imperative that faculty members are equipped with the skills to provide instruction that meets their students’ needs.
Second, students considering college have more options than ever to replace the traditional classroom learning experience. As a result and more than ever, institutions of higher education need to ensure face-to-face instruction provided by faculty is of exceedingly high-quality.
Beacon Instructional Partners provides highly customized instructional coaching that combines classroom observations with personalized debrief conversations to help instructors in higher education provide an engaging and rigorous classroom experience. Our coaching approach begins with a deep passion and respect for the planning and execution of high-quality instruction. We recognize that teaching at any level is a difficult, complex skill that, like research, is best approached through intentional experimentation, frequent feedback, and expert support. Our methods are based on the foundational belief that expert coaching is a professional right that any instructor at any level can benefit from.
